3d Printers

Red Davies, Founder of HSC, led a group STEM activity at HSC to build a certain model of DIY 3D printer called a RepRap (Self-replicating rapid prototyper) in ~October of 2011. A dozen or so members of HSC and others, ages 12 to adult, constructed a 3D printer of their own. Costs of about $400 per participant, materials, and time for this activity were donated by HSC members with some help from participants.
